I am doing a research report on HFCS for one of my classes. I have found so many industry supported sites that tell how "similar" HFCS is to sucrose, but the bottom line is how do you artifically create sugar then call it HFCS then call it similar to sucrose.

Dont make sence to me..

and dont hate on the mispellings

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your comment! My second reference above gives you a comprehensive list of name-brand foods that contain HFCS.
I hope that helps.

Thanks Umbo,
Although there is no formal petition to remove HFCS from our diets, sites like Navdanya encourage people to write to companies or the government to make them aware of the proliferation of this unnatural sweetener.
At the end of the day, the simplest form of protest, I guess, would be to avoid products that use HFCS, while at the same time spreading the word among your friends and in your community.
Good Health!,
-FM.

[...] Linkfitnessmantra10:08 pmAdd comment Fruit cocktail, fruit punch, fruit beverage … nope none ofthem is 100% fruit juice. If the label does not say 100% fuit juice, you are in for some diluted, High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) infused, poor excuse for a satisfying fruit serving. [...]

[...] As for fiber, a good measure is that each slice should have atleast 2g of it. Also make sure the dough is not doused in High-Fructose Corn Syrup (you do know why it is harmful, don’t you?) [...]
