Gallup Survey: America is getting heavier but exercising less

According to a WebMD article, a Gallup survey of about 1000 individuals has only confirmed what has become increasingly obvious: More Americans are getting heavier but fewer are making exercise a regular part of their lives.
With nearly 6 in 10 either overweight or obese,
Nearly 60% said they would “like to lose weight.” But only 28% said “yes” when asked if they were currently “seriously trying to lose weight.”
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity on five or more days of the week.
